Results

The Coca-Cola Foundation has disbursed Fundacolombia between 2005 and 2010, the sum of USD 9,999,970 (approx. 20 billion Colombian pesos) to finance:

• 25 Production School Projects distributed into 7 departments (34 municipalities) directly benefiting 13,991 youth.
• 60 Young Educator Projects in 15 departments (41 municipalities) directly benefiting 3,171 youth.
• 269 young people benefited from scholarships for higher education, which at the end of 2010, 89 graduated in technical and professional careers, 64 partially made progress with their studies and 116 are still active.

In 2010 Fundacolombia carried out impact assessment projects funded with this resource from the perception of beneficiaries and executors, compared with a control group. The results obtained allow us to confirm the fulfillment of our mission in the generation of personal changes in young recipients and their recognition as empowered actors in their lives, achievements in the productive enterprises, improving their living conditions and their families', and the creation of social fabric of communities intervened by Fundacolombia
