



The Tourism Project-Training in Table & Bar, and Kitchen coordinated by Fundacion Granitos de Paz in partnership with FUNDACOLOMBIA, SENA and Centro Colombo Americano, started the technical training on Monday March 28 through SENA, in the two modalities offered by the project, Technical officers and Technical Bar and Kitchen. These trainings are theoretical practices and take up to 6 months with an intensity of 6 hours a day Monday through Friday. Additionally, trainees must perform a 6-month internship at several restaurants, bars, hotels and clubs in town to support their training.
During March 31 and April 1 the youth who belong to the technical program “table and bar” attended SENA-sede Ternera in order to check the facilities, programs and also conduct a practical class at the cafeteria and bar. They learned to recognize the utensils used at the table and bar and worked in customer service at lunchtime, as waiters, bartenders, etc... (See pictures)
